Tryout Information and Registration

* Tryouts are $180 plus applicable fees and are non-refundable; early bird special price for tryouts are $160 plus applicable fees and are non-refundable.

* Be sure to arrive to your first tryout early for check-in.

* 14U and 16U Youth Team Tryout group assignments will be sent out to participants after Tryout registration closes.

* Registered participants are to attend all scheduled tryouts.

* Information on supplemental tryouts (if necessary) will be provided when available.

* To Complete the Tryout Registration players must have a valid/active USA Hockey Number.

*Tri-City provides All Inclusive Fees that include:

• - All practices, games, league registrations, tournament registrations
• - Incremental hockey skills and goaltender development sessions led by our development structure leaders. 
• - Rotating practice sessions on Whitey's Pond (weather permitting) starting in November.
• - 14U and older teams receive a weekly FULL ICE practice.
• - Other fees associated with club administration and programming. 
• - Expenses such as travel and lodging for non-parent head coach, and other miscellaneous expenses that pertain to the team/club itself.

Costs not covered by Team Fees:

• - Uniforms, apparel, transportation and lodging are additional.

Q. When does the Early Bird Special Pricing for Tryouts End

A. For 12U and under the Early Bird Pricing of $160 is available through March 1st. For 14U and older Early Bird Price of $160 is available through April 12th.

Q.  Is there a deadline to register?

A. Yes.  Registration closes on Thursday 4/25 at 11:59pm for 14U-19U Travel Tryouts.

Q.  My child is registered to tryout for a 14U or 16U Youth Team, how do I know which Tryout group they are assigned?

A. All 14U and 16U Youth Team Tryout participants will be notified of their group assignment after Tryout registration closes.

Q. I am going to miss the scheduled tryout dates.  How is that handled?

A. Register for tryouts.  A tryout registration must be on file in order to be considered throughout the tryout process.   Supplemental tryout dates will be provided as necessary and available.
