Tri-City is very proud to announce that both Taylor Schulman (’08) and Taylor Ziegler (’09) have been selected to USA Hockey Girls Multi-District Development Camp at Bowling Green State University in Ohio from June 27-July 2. Schulman and Ziegler will be joining a hand picked group of young women who will assemble in Ohio with other players from around the country for a week of exposure and development. The full list of affiliate representatives can be found on the PVAHA website.
Schulman and Ziegler spent the 2020-21 season playing together at TCE on the 12U Girls and 12U Blue teams.
“Both are excellent players that work hard and were leaders on the team,” declared 12U Girls Head Coach Chad Ziegler.
TCE Hockey Director, Rob Trantin, is beyond thrilled for both Taylors. “We are very proud of the accomplishments of these two young women,” he said. “Both are fantastic hockey players and even better people. It’s a great example of how hard work, being a good teammate, and trusting the process is still the right approach.”
For the Tri-City Girls Travel program, the 2020-21 accolades just keep rolling in. Tri-City’s 14U Girls and 16U Girls teams are already heading to USA Hockey Nationals (April 28-May 3 in Colorado).
“It’s a huge credit to all our young women,” said Trantin. “They are talented, motivated, and determined. Our Girls Hockey Director, Jacquie Dzubak, has done an amazing job cultivating a winning culture through positivity and inclusion. Through her efforts, TCE has quickly become the gold standard for Girls Tier II travel hockey within the affiliate.”
“Not only is this an awesome accomplishment by Taylor Schulman and Taylor Ziegler,” Trantin continued, “but is one that is shared by their teammates, coaches, and the entire club. We are all so thrilled for them, share their joy, and can’t wait for what they’re going to do next.”
He’s right. The future is bright. And we can’t wait.
Congratulations Taylor and Taylor!
